Wii Tales of Mothership RPG Teaser Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Namco Bandai have released a short teaser trailer of footage from the next mainline Tales game, exclusive to Wii. The game seems to follow the same formula as previous Tales titles, with town exploration and Quick Battles. However, this is a leaked trailer from a recent promotional DVD and the video is clearly of the game at its early stage in development.

The game is set for release late next year in Japan, Namco Bandai have yet to announce the full name of the game.

Update - Some screen-grabs have now been added to the game folder and the video is now the higher quality edition.

Lookin pretty dang good, although the lack of fanfare for this vid leads me to believe this is a leak. Smilie

Edit: I\'d suggest you guys follow the vid to Youtube and click on the \'Watch in High Quality\' tab, it looks even better that way. Smilie

The music without lyrics and english text leads me to think there's already at least an american version in the works.

This. Game. Looks. Awesome! Great graphics! Great landscapes and well made trailer.

I always liked the Tales-Series, even if I only played Symphonia. It was great on Cube.

Looks pretty sweet, good landscapes/designs and nice models. Battles don't look so hot, dunno what's missing - a bit lifeless.

It's the higher quality version on YouTube, not the highest quality one overall...that would be here. I think it's something like 25MB...

Looks like the same engine too me, but a larger draw-distance is now possible.

Hopefully there'll be more Characters around the towns to bring the areas to life. But then it is really early in it's development cycle, so I guess it will look more lively in the end product.
