    Oh dear.

Using the Wii-mote? What the hell are they thinking? The game was designed specifically with bongos in mind!

Not to mention these so called 'lives'.

Jungle Beat was awesome, this leaves the impression in my mind that they've ruined it.

I dunno having regular analogue stick controle is a nice addition, I wasn't a huge fan of the bongos.

Gotta say i'm with Mario_0 on this one. I did not like the bongo's one bit, thats what really put me off the GC version, even though i heard generally good things about it.
Now that it utilises an analogue stick (which it should've done to begin with) i'm seriously considering this game.Smilie

Nah, I'm not liking it, Jungle Beat for G-Cube with the bongos, just right, perfect. I'm going with the cheese on this one. Well said cheese. Well said

    Go Typhlosion!

Finally they made a NEW DK game!

    Super Duper Ultra Fun Time!

this game was relatively easy with the bongos, without them im guessing it will be super easy. pick up the gc version and play the game the way it was intended to be played.

oh and ^^^ this game aint new.

Don't forget you could use a GC pad with the original game, it wasn't compulsory to use the Bongo's.

Also, does anyone else have the same sticking problem with the bongo's and the Wii's gamecube ports.

For some reason my Bongo controller plug gets stuck in the Wii and will not come out without a lot of wrangling. Whereas it is fine in the Cube itself.

Yeah but you had to keep tapping the analogue stick in the direction you wanted to go...

Who agrees that Nintendo should make a Donkey Kong Country DS remake, with 2.5 3D graphics like New Super Mario Bros, PM me if you agree.

I played some of the Cube levels, it was a nice game. The bongos were sometimes annoying, usually charming. I'll miss the clapping.

why doesn't nintendo stop the music dk games and make another game similar to DK64.

Mario, Mega Man and Rayman FTW!!!

    It's not a music game, it's a platformer.

Implementing the extra lives feature is a insult to players everywhere. This game was already incredibly easy. The difficulty lies in getting the platinum scores.

Totally agree. The point of the game isn't to get to the end. It's to get every single platinum crest and even then use every trick in the book to desperately try and get an extra 50 beats onto your high-score.

It really is the perfect arcade (style) game in my opinion, and I've no idea why anyone would want lives or why they would want to play it with a Wii-mote.

Maybe they will release it with Wii bongos in a package. Like they have with Samba De Amigo, but they used shakers.
