Nintendo provide some festive cheer this week with 4 Wiiware titles, including one of the best games on the service and another Art Style title.
Art Style: Orbient from Nintendo is the second of the bit Generation Wiimakes to hit the EU service, and is considered one of the best of the Art Style series. Like the other games, Orbient is simplistic, but entertaining, as you assume the role of a grey star trying to absorb other planets. A mere 600 points this one.
Sudoku Challenge from Digital Leisure does what it says on the tin, and offers lots of challenging Sudoku puzzles for your buck. Only 500 Wii points.
Niki - Rock 'n' Ball from Bplus is the developer's second title for the service, after Plattchen: Twist 'n' Paint. This one sees you take control of Niki as you explore worlds, find pearls, and defend your village from evil monsters. Just 500 points if you fancy trying this one out.
and last but certainly not least, World of Goo from 2DBoy. Made by only two staff members, World of Goo is proof that great games don't always need 100's of workers and high budgets to turn out great, as it is perhaps WiiWare's best game, and one that has even challenged Mario Galaxy for top ratings spot.
The premise of the game is simple; with the Wii Remote pointer, grab balls of Goo and stick them together to form a structure with which to reach the end goal of the level. The price of World of Goo may be high, but critical acclaim has made this title's 1500 price point a mere stepping stone.
Will C3 readers be downloading any of these games today?
