A mysterious video has popped up online, with claims that it's of an exclusive Wii title coming in 2009.
IGN was sent a link to a video that's supposedly of an exclusive Wii game that's due for release in 2009 - it looks incredibly bizarre; and details are sketchy. It's not even certain whether there's a smidgeon of gameplay in there, but it's worth a watch.

Could this be one of those big Wii exclusives from EA in 2009 - maybe a new 'Wing Commander'??

If this is the "Big IP from EA headed to Wii" we've been told about by IGN, then this leaves the big Konami IP. We know it won't be Metal Gear, so what could it be ? I'd go for a Suikoden, since the last installment fell on the DS, or maybe a whole new Ganbare Goemon game, considering how well the Wii is doing in Japan.

The way it's being treated (i.e. IGN seem to have an idea what it is and are hyping it) seems to suggest to me that this is one of those big exclusives that has been promised.
EA would make sense. IGN states that there are a few frames of the Wii game contained in the reel on the TV...the images of space and space-shooter-like screens, coupled with the name of the source could indeed indicate something like Wing Commander.
Or, if you take a look at some of the other frames like plants, trees, it could be something entirely different. Looking forward to finding out...
