To be fair though, this is new, and you can't usually get it second hand for under £15, even unboxed.

If you could get the cartridge for under £7, then I would consider this a rip off, but it would be hard to find it that cheap, not to mention this way you can play it without setting up your N64 and you can us the GC controller for it.

    Kewlioo Koo!

    Super Duper Ultra Fun Time!

If it has 480p it's alright I suppose.

You guys need to do a bit of research. Smilie

Ocarina of Time is the exact same price in Japan, what is it over here? Smilie

Not trying to be a dick, but unless you've never played SSB, whats the point in buying it? It's total shite compared to Melee/Brawl now.

Wii points are cheaper/was cheaper in Japan to buy...
But with the pound falling in value it no longer is.

But Brawl is enough for me Smilie

Avoid Games Like the Plague, productivity++

I'll get it, I suppose... Smilie

The former top user was Keven! You'd probably give birth to yourself 1000 times over until you sprout wings to fly away into the fading sun, that or you'd just turn into a lesbian. Who knows @_@ - L, 12/06/09

Purely for nostalgia, and SSB64 is still more competetive than Brawl too so a lot of competetive smashers will lap it up.

I still have my good old N64 along with this game, so i'll skip it ^^.

^like wise, ive got the 64 version, still boxed an all! 1,200 is a right rip off though.

To be honest though, unless youve got someone to play it with then the nostalgia is defo not worth it, compared to brawl and melee it is very sluggish. Still a great game though.

Mind you, im still waiting for StarWing (Starfox) and Super Mario Kart. But i don't think they will come anytime soon

Too late. They missed their chance.

Maybe it's 1200 points because they're gonna add a working Wi-fi with leaderboards?

    ...Joking...

Gonna download for nostalgia purposes Smilie

    .:Zelda Adventures:.
    u guys are DNA.

Will still be getting it anyway Smilie

It seems like they hadn't released an N64 title for bloody ages. Is that just me?

Also I hope what Phoenixus said is true... Who's to say this won't be 1200 in the west too?

We're talking about the price in Japan.

Even if it were 1000 here, it's still a rip off, surely? Don't know about you, but shelling out £7-10 for an N64 game, a digital copy at that, is ridiculous.

Perhaps, perhaps not, price justification depends on the game really. Sin and Punishment is a bargain at 1200, this probably not as much. Smilie

Hence why it's Smash Bros is a rip off, yet the rare game that wasn't released outside Japan is worth the price.
