Electronics retailer in the US, Circuit City will be closing down, leaving 567 stores empty.
QJ.net report that the large retailer filed for bankruptcy last November and tried to explore various options to keep itself alive but have failed to find a buyer. More than 30,000 people will be left unemployed. The chain had been well known for stocking computers, multimedia equipment and a range of games including Nintendo's Wii and DS.
Our thoughts are with those who will be losing their jobs.
