Factor 5, Developer, Rumour, Silicon Knights Related Stories
A recent rumour has suggested that Factor 5 are still developing, and Silicon Knights are working on a Wii title.
Falafelkid, who has previously reported rumours that turned out to be true, has stated that troubled developer Factor 5 is still working on current projects. He expects an official announcement before the end of the month.

Yeah, but they're going to make Kid Icarus poorly, I can already feel it. Not poorly as in a crap job, but poorly as in not really Kid Icarus, if you know what I mean.

Factor 5 is good with flight games, that is it. Remember the ground missions in Rebel Strike, the most robotic animations I have ever seen and most boring gameplay. Kid Icarus is really a hybrid between metroid and zelda, not a flying action game.

Starfox plz! Leave Kid Icarus to Nintendo or Sakurai, if those sketches are anything to go by, then they better stay away from that franchise. Here's hoping Icarus has Miyamoto's hands in it!

I actually think there is some truth in this rumour. I recall hearing about them making the Star Wars games for the Play On Wii range, so perhaps they are simply finishing those up. I think this could concern other titles also, most notably Kid Icarus Wii.
Perhaps Nintendo have supplied the team with a ample finance package after coming to the conclusion it\'s not a project they themselves can finish. The game is supposedly targeted for the western audience primarily. Of course the project was also using a team that have grown very accustomed to creating games where flight is features heavily.
Who knows what that Silicon Knights game could be, your guess is as good as mine. Eternal Darkness 2 would be nice though.

I think it would be nice to see Factor 5 working on Starfox or Pilotwings personally.
I'd rather have Kid Icarus developed in-house after all this hype.
However if it is a Starfox game that Factor 5 are working on then i hope they dont rush it like Rare did Starfox Adventures. Great game until you get to 75% through the game and its zips straight to 100% after like 2 boss'
