Sonic and the Black Knight Character Renders on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

A short video displaying rotating 3D renders of playable characters in the next Sonic outing has emerged.

Fans wanting to play as other faces in Sonic's universe can try out a handful of familiar characters alongside the blue hedgehog himself in the Black Knight. Now we can see our favourite blokes and fiery lass in intricate detail:

I think there is 4 diffrent sonic cartoons

Adventures of sonic the hedgehog was the first one

SatAM Sonic which is the one in that youtube video

Sonic Underground where sonic had a green brother and pink sister and they battled robotnik with guitars, drums and keyboards that shot lazers ( no i\'m not making this up).

and then SonicX which is the most recent one.

That has to be the most corny song I have heard on a sonic cartoon. You should watch some of the Sonic shorts on Newgrounds. There is a funny interpritation on there.

I know it is sooo cool that Blaze is a playable character. But I wonder if Tails will be in it?

Nope, Tails and Amy are supporting characters, likely because they wouldn\'t be seen dead with swords, too young etc. Smilie

EDIT: It\'s OK for Tails to pilot huge mechs though.

EDIT2: By the way, the models in this look awesome for a Wii game.

I can\'t see why if he can muck around with machines and fly a plain then why can\'t he ba a playable character. Tails with a sword would be awsome

Yeah, I remember hating Sonic Underground even as a little kid. I watched Sonic X subbed a while ago though, I quite liked it, especially season 2 which follows the Sonic Adventure games. Smilie

Shame about lack of playable Tails. When was Tails last properly playable? Without being in a mech thing? Sonic Adventure 1? Smilie I\'d rather have Tails than Shadow. But yeah, at least there\'s no Silver. Smilie
