Spyborgs Wii, Early Beta Videos on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Early snippets of footage from Capcom's Spyborgs for Wii have surfaced, before the change in art direction.

In Spyborgs you take the role of a bunch of heroes each with unique abilities needed to progress through levels designed in the Saturday-morning TV style. Each section is tackled using a pair of characters in 2 player co-op style, with the CPU taking on the role if a friend isn't available.

Thanks to NeoGAF.

What do you think of the style/gameplay idea behind Spyborgs? Does it have the potential to become a Wii classic?

Didn't look too bad.

Good clean animation style, looks pretty decent. Gonna keep an eye on this; Wii needs more co-ops!

Yeah doesn't look too bad...

I'm glad they're changing the art direction though, not digging the "Saturday Morning Cartoon" thing.

.:Zelda Adventures:.
u guys are DNA.

The voice acting sounds like its come from that jhonny test cartoon.

-Have you any idea what it's like to be a Fembot living in a Manbot's Manputer's world?
-What?

*shudders* Johnny Test Smilie ...
Anyway I'm glad they're reworking the style. It looked a bit bland to me. I'll keep my eye on this one though.

I do not know if I agree with everyone here. I mean, TMNT on NES, SNES, Genesis, and a few others stayed pretty spot on to the TV shows and those were awesome co-op experiences.

Well this isn't an actual tv show, so there's nothing to stay spot on to.
