This week sees the launch of three more tournaments, for Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros Brawl. Happy gaming!
We launched the tournaments system late last year, but it hasn't been so successful due to the long times between each round. So we've revised the rules with a 3 day limit between each; with those who don't reply (to request an extension or say they're dropping out) being disqualified.

The Mario Kart DS tournament never did get off the ground. Could I suggest a smaller amount of entries? I know 8 as opposed to 16 doesn't sound like much at all, but we'd get them done a lot quicker that way.

That's true, would need to code it for the smaller entry numbers - hopefully we can really get this back off the ground!

Great, a Mario Kart one. I've been looking forward to this for awhile, but every "tournament" I've seen only has 3 or 4 people in it. Hopefully this takes off.

Yeah, smaller round numbers would be good for quieter games, so that things can get going faster. I signed up for the Mario Kart DS one back in December or so, when I had time. Now that I'm back at Uni, things are a bit busier.
