Nintendo's Another Code Wii Slow in Japan

The Media Create sales have been released for the week of 2nd-8th February, showing a very slow start for Nintendo's Another Code on Wii, the mystery adventure sequel to the Cing-developed Nintendo DS original. Topping the list for the second week is the Tales spin-off, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2, which has now surpassed all three DS Tales, the Wii's Symphonia side-story and Vesperia on Xbox 360...especially shocking given how Tales of Hearts on DS was meant to sell 400,000 units in Japan, but only scraped to just over 200,000 at last count. Also of interest: FFCC: Echoes of Time on DS clings onto its Top 10 position, but the Wii game plummets quickly to No.25, whilst Level-5's football RPG Inazuma Eleven is still slogging away at No.26, looking like making it to the 300,000 mark with ease now. Previously it looked like it would struggle to hit 100,000, so the anime show and good word of mouth are definitely helping this have some very impressive legs!

Disappointing start for Another Code indeed...I hope this won't affect its chances of localisation at all.

Odd, maybe adventure games are going down in japan as they are riseing in europe.
