Sega Goes Viral with Project Ringo on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Sega have continued their project announcement placeholder pages with a new one: Project Ringo.

Ringo in Japanese translates to apple, and on the page itself is a short looping animation of a character bouncing an apple up and down, along with a short Javascript snippet.

The game/project is said to be revealed on February 24th 2009. Speculation time folks!

Could be an Iphone/Touch App.

But then, it could be a game Starring Ringo Star (don't ask why, I don't know).

Appleman? maybe.

I was hoping for another Project Rub game, but it could also be Yuji Naka's new baby, couldn't it?

Dentist simulation?

There's another one I saw (*link*) where there was a falling apple and three equations that all equal 247.

I'm pretty sure "...next 2.24" refers to the release date (February 24th is 2-24 in the American system of dating). I don't know if that's all it refers to or if they're planning something else when the game comes out.
Or I could be entirely wrong.

Maybe it's another WiiWare game like Pole's Adventure?

.:Zelda Adventures:.
u guys are DNA.

when you say "Ringo!" i see sonic because of "Rings" in the game. But then that character might have no relation with sonic so thats out.

When all is bad don't look for a easy way out. Because you wont know what to do once your out
