First Videos of Hudson

The first videos of Hudson's WiiWare shooter released in Europe this week, Onslaught, have popped up online.

You're part of a military team sent to a distant research colony to fend off mysterious creatures and discover what's happened to the missing humans by blasting through a series of winding levels. There's also online competitive and co-operative multiplayer for up to 4 players using WFC.

Pick up a copy of the first fps on WiiWare for 1000 points from today.

Doesn't exactly look like the best shooter in the world, but very good for a downloadable - online co-op sounds a blast too!

hm... don't know what to think of it. Looks a bit boring. But great to see, that at least on Wiiware there's a shooter coming. I am surprised it's on Wiiware and not on disk...

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

For 1000 Wii points it seems pretty fun. You get 4 player online co-op as well... which not many Wii games can do.

Well, factor in price and Nintendo's size limit.

Not too shabby an effort. Some online co-op and cheap thrills might make this something to try out.

It looks terrible, but then what did you expect from a Japanese developer making a MP FPS Wii Ware. Not much.

All that neon and that font used reeks of a bygone era in gaming, as does the gameplay. It\'s so crude it begs belief. If people want a decent MP FPS they are much better off getting a game that\'s cheaper (5 pounds second hand) and far far better. CoD2, made many moons ago. Wii Ware does not need this crap. Such games should be made for disc on Wii, where the full potential can be realized. Spare us this shit.
