Nintendo's Walking Training on DS Delayed

By Adam Riley 14.02.2009 3

Despite being previously set for a release across Europe next Friday, Nintendo Europe has announced a delay for 'Walk With Me' on DS, the title that makes use of Activity Meter pedometers to help DS owners improve the health in the long-term by encouraging them to...walk more.

Below is the official statement:

The European launch of Walk with me! Do you know your walking routine?, has been delayed for a short time due to some production issues. The game's release was originally scheduled for 20 February 2009. A new European launch date will be announced shortly. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers in the meantime.

Walk with me! Do you know your walking routine? is designed to help you to get in tune with your personal walking regime, and comes bundled with two Activity Meter pedometers. The Activity Meters and software will help you to keep track of your daily life rhythm and will allow you to compare your data with friends and family, as well as enabling you to see how you compare with walkers across the globe via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Will you be checking out this piece of software when it eventually lands on European shores?
