We see sonic blazing through medieval towns, doing battle with old rival Shadow and trekking across huge open landscapes.

Hmmm... I don't like the route Sega is taking with Sonic... such a shame because it was one of my fav franchises. Even though I owned a SNES, I loved to go over to my cousin's and play Sonic 1 and 2.
I have some good ideas for a Sonic game, it's not that hard really, but it seems Sonic can't make a good transition to 3D.
