NGamer to Feature Red Steel 2 on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

UK mag NGamer will feature a first look at the sequel to Red Steel in its May 2009 issue coming up next month.

According to N-Europe, the current edition's "Next Month" page promises a look at Ubisoft's Red Steel 2, and also makes a note of "MotionPlus swordsmanship" for those who found wielding a blade a little cumbersome.

The magazine hits stands on Wednesday March 25th 2009. It's unknown whether this will be a world exclusive, but expect something sooner given the likelihood of an internet leakage.

I really hope this isn't a bad game. The first one was pretty terrible but I still enjoyed it...

Less posty, more gamey.

Time for Ubisoft to show it can make a decent Wii game.

Ubisoft Make a decent Wii game!? Has the sky has fallen? That scenario is less likely than the rapture...

Actually i'm quite interested to see how this will turn out, i got a mixed bag with the original Red Steel, i wonder how they plan to improve it? MotionPlus sounds like a sensible step.

Let\'s hope it\'s not as shit as the first game.

Never mind that the text blending with the image seems to have been done by a child experimenting with Microsoft Paint for the very first time. Perhaps a hint of the quality of the game?

I have little faith in it being a good game seeing as though the same team are making it.

I doubt it will be exclusive.

Meh, I don't read that magazine anymore, all the good writers have moved onto better things.

I really hope they mean MP to make good analogue input of sword motions, not just MP to map the geatures a little better.

And people wonder why females still feel out of place in gaming Smilie

As for Red Steel 2, well it can't get much worse.

Seeing that Red Steel was one of the first FPS games on the Wii, I just see that game as an experiment. The sequel has been what 3 years now in development? I think ubisoft might just crack the nut on this 1.
