Nintendo Drives Excitebots onto Wii on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Within Nintendo of America's schedule for Q2 2009 was a new title that comes part of the Excite range of racers.

The press release is short but sweet - Excitebots: Trick Racing is a racing game of some kind with a large emphasis on the Wii Wheel and family play, revolves mainly around performing tricks and unique/changing environments and minigames.

It's due out on April 20th 2009.

I ever thought, that Excitetruck wasn't as bad as everyone said. With decent pimping it can even be a great game.
For what I read here, it utilizes the same steering and gameplay. Not bad.

Excitetruck was BRILLIANT, albeit short. I really hope they're not going to ruin the franchise by going towards, it seems, robots. I've heard that it's moving towards weapon-based gameplay, too...
