EA's Wii Tennis Site Launched

EA has lifted the lid on their Wii Tennis sim, featuring real-life players, locations and motion-plus support.

Grand Slam Tennis follows other top racket franchises by bringing in high profile players and real-life locations but mixing it up with a stylised art direction. You'll be able to create your own players, compete in a Grand Slam career mode and even rack up experience at Wimbledon's Centre Court.

On the Wii, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 and EA SPORTS Grand Slam Tennis bring the authentic motion and excitement of championship golf and tennis to life for fans of all ages and skill levels. With the new Wii MotionPlus, slicing a winner on Centre Court at Wimbledon or dropping an 8 iron pin high on No. 17 at TPC Sawgrass have never felt better. We couldn't be more excited about the dynamic new EA SPORTS experiences coming this year to Wii.

Quite a neat style - liking the facial design, could do a little bit of work with colours/shadows and contrast, but looking positive.

Looks nice. The more I look at the characters the more I like the design. Have to admit character design looks much better then the real life attempt by topspin 3. Its all about control with this game so I hope they nail it. Still play wii tennis occasionally sometimes wish they including tournaments or something to give it more depth.

I'm quite intrigued by what the other games using MotionPlus will be. We know of Tiger Woods 10 and Grand Slam Tennis, but there are three others coming in 2009. Anyone reckon one might be Fight Night, whilst another could be the rumoured Cricket title? Not sure about what else...anyone else got ideas? NHL??
