Beypoint Reader Links to DS GBA Slot

Beypoint Reader Links to DS GBA Slot on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Hudson is still to use the GBA slot on the DS despite the DSi removing the GBA functionality altogether.

DS project Metal Fight Beyblade is an interesting one that requires an adaptor slotted into the GBA port to be linked up to a Beypoint reader. It keeps track of your superfun Beyblade stats in real life, and links it all up with your virtual self in the game.

Thanks to Siliconera.

I thought Beyblade fineshed along time ago? I could of sworn I watched the whole series....and had about 20 beyblades too Smilie I think that was my first ever anime ^^

Would be interesting to see how this works, given the chip will take a knocking inside the actual device.

If I remeber rightly, I had this tree in my garden which I used to launch them at and used to take actual chunks out the tree, Good times ^^

I remember beyblade wasn\'t that the one with the \"top\" monsters. I loved that show too.

The former top user was Keven! You'd probably give birth to yourself 1000 times over until you sprout wings to fly away into the fading sun, that or you'd just turn into a lesbian. Who knows @_@ - L, 12/06/09

Wow this looks cool. Why don't more devs try things like this?

I tink I kept about 2 or 3 of the best beyblades I had and I chucked the rest away ^^
So god damn nostalgic.

ewww isn't this tucked away along with the smurfs?

whatever happened to that game that absorbed the sun. it was like a vampire rpg something like that. it was for GBA. DS would of benefited from an upgraded game to that indeed.

well, Nintendo did say that the DSi wasn't a DS replacement. it's just a complementary system. (that won't sit well when games start saying DSi only)

-make it count- Hey if you wanna play Wii Games with me, check out my game portion of my profile and pm me if you wanna add me so I can add you!
