Konami Summon Yu-Gi-Oh Back to Wii, DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Konami have announced a pair of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D games for Nintendo's Wii and DS.

Both are planned for release in May 2009, following the latest series to hit Western shores - 5D - taking place in a future world and features Yusei Fudo and Jack Atlus.

Wheelie Breakers (Wii)

  • Combines card dueling with duel wheel motorcycle racing.
  • Summon monsters as you zip around tracks, battle opponents to stop them winning the race.
  • Takes advantage of the Wii remote and nunchuck to control their vehicles and duel.
  • Story, GP, competition multiplayer with up to 4 pals.

    Stardust Accelerator: World Championship 2009 (DS)

  • 2,800 playable cards - the "most robust offering" in the World Championship franchise. Includes limited cards from "Crimson Crisis".
  • Various modes - story, World Championship etc - battle against friends and foes around the globe.

    About fuckin time, it took them long enough. Think I\'ll be skipping this one though, can\'t say I\'m too fond of this 5Ds stuff.

    Could\'ve sworn that Wheelie Breakers was announced as a Wiiware title a few months back, probably mistaken though.
