The NPD Group has released the latest sales data for the US market during the month of February, and once again Wii Fit is king. Despite the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sales of Capcom's Street Fighter IV totalling nearly 850,000 in its first month of release, formats are separated for US data, meaning that Wii Fit's phenomenal ~650,000 units in what is traditionally a slow month managed to keep Nintendo ahead of the pack, with Wii Play not too far behind, sitting at No.4 with sales of around 390,000 units.
On the hardware side, Wii and Nintendo DS again lead the way, although it should be noted that the Xbox 360 saw its biggest non-holiday period sales since the release of Halo 3 back in September 2007. All the available data can be seen below:

The sales for March will likely be interesting, considering the number of large releases lined up - Pokemon Platinum (DS), Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (DS), Halo Wars (360) and Resident Evil 5 (360/PS3), to name just a few.
