Namco Bandai Detail Tales of Graces for Wii on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The most recent issue of Weekly Shounen Jump sheds some light on Namco Bandai's latest Tales game for Wii.

Tales of Graces has been confirmed as a Wii "mothership" title after recent findings. You play as an 18-year-old youngster who lives on the outskirts of town, Aspel Rant. He seeks strength after loosing a loved one (presumably a death or gone missing), and heads out to do his business. Details are sketchy, but according to IGN, Graces revolves around the themes of "Protect" or "Defend", complete with specific gameplay systems and the usual large-scale Tales story.

The game's due out this year in Japan, exclusively for Nintendo Wii.

They really are raping this series, there seems to be a new tales game announced every week.

Awesome graphics

When all is bad don't look for a easy way out. Because you wont know what to do once your out

I'll probably get ToG for the Wii. ToS on the Wii has been fun. But I won't be getting Tales games for any other system.

I sold my soul to Sony for a PS3...

They should at least come up with an original story, rather than \"Main character with silly name sets out for revenge/search/banished from his home town etc etc\". I do love the characters from the Tales series though.

Whatever happened to Tales of Bataille? Was that a rumoured name for this? The story in that sounded better.

Its really nice to be getting a mainstream game and the other consoles getting ports and spin-offs for a change no? Smilie Smilie

And yeah, the story sounds cliche.
But then, so was ToS. (in fact, it had just about EVERY fantasy cliche).

The important thing to me is having a good explorable enviroment, a large number of puzzles, and humour.
