Rumour: Wii Fit Expansion/Sequel on the Way? on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

An unconfirmed retailer list suggests the release of Wii Fit Plus later this year, and MotionPlus sometime in July.

A list of forthcoming Wii games has been doing the internet rounds today, claiming that Wii Sports Resort will finally hit stores this July, complete with the Motion Plus accessory. Fans of interactive fitness may be able to pick up "Wii Fit Plus", if it exists, later this year. New/additional exercises no doubt.

If someone makes money on something why stop? well you stop making dolls, no i'm not saying you do just to open your eyes, if you made millions a month off of them?

Maybe, if the game is interesting i'll get the Wii fit plus and even the Wii Sports Resort with the Motion+

When all is bad don't look for a easy way out. Because you wont know what to do once your out

Cool, if it's true, it probably will sell well again, but not as well as it's predocessor for a while, kinda like Dr. Kawashima's brain training.

I play on my Girlfriends Wii Fit and I've found it to be a fun little game, and yes, it does count as a game, it just has quite a few miniture sized games in it, and it has high scores which makes it more of a game than some.

OK look, I'm not saying that I hate it (well kind of, but not really). All I'm saying is that people over at Nintendo, along with Miyamoto, are spending time on this when they could be spending time on something, well, I don't know.... interesting? Smilie

If there's one thing Nintendo is good at, it's working on a billion different projects at one time. A new Mario and a new Zelda are currently in production, for example.
Hopefully, this is just an expansion. I can't really see them making an entirely new game.
