EA have produced a short tutorial video on how MotionPlus will enhance motion controls in the upcoming Grand Slam Tennis.

The attachment that plugs into the base of your Wii Remote is said to bring additional precision and realism to standard waggling and swiping, and by the looks of things it does seem to work out fairly well.

Confirmed players are: John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Pete Sampras, Stefan Edberg , Boris Becker, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick, Novak Djokovic Andy Murray, Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova, Pat Cash, Justine Henin, Micheal Stich, Lindsay Davenport, Kei Nishikori, Lleyton Hewiit, Venus Williams, Novak Djokovic, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Ana Ivanovic.

    Thanks to GoNintendo.

Can't deny the tech works - not sure if I really want to jump around my living room any more though.

    Looks very good.
I could be petty and say it wasnt true 1:1 when he demo'd, but that was clearly an issue with it trying to attach the motions to charecter...the racket motions looked fine.
Getting charecters to look non-flicky with mp analogue 1:1 motions might take a full generation to get right.

This looks like a great start though.

Well, motion plus actualy is just about improving rotational sensing, so you might not be jumping around much.

I want to know how my character runs? It looks like Wii Sports! The player goes to the right spot on his own!

Thats not a problem for me if everything else works ok!

It looks amazing. I love everything that they have done so far with this game. Character models controls so on.

They also have a better player line up then I have ever seen before. Someone like Tsonga would never feature on topspin unless he started to win master shield or slams.
Also glad Murray is in it.

This is what I wanted back in 07. Its taken a while but the wii looks to be where I want it now. hould be a stellar yr.

There seems to be a bigger delay than in Wii Sports.
