Warner Bros. to Publish Scribblenauts DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The unique words to action title for DS, Scribblenauts, has found a publisher - Warner Bros. Interactive.

5th Cell, of Drawn to Life fame, have been working on the new game for release this fall. It's a sandbox-style action/puzzle game where you're solving a problem by entering a word and trying to use your generated object to save a cat from a tree for example. Tap "ladder" or something a bit more unusual, say "Ferret" and use these to solve puzzles. Each level has a load of different ways to overcome the problems, with objects being able to be combined for the tougher sequences.

Scribblenauts is a fresh and inventive game offering players of all ages a chance to experiment and use their imagination in a really fun handheld gaming experience. 5TH Cell has a tradition of developing high-quality, innovative games such as Drawn to Life and Lock's Quest, and we're very pleased to work with them on Scribblenauts.

Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production and Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

We're excited to be working with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to bring Scribblenauts to a wide range of gamers, so they can play something they've never experienced anywhere else. Scribblenauts is our biggest DS title to date and the culmination of our design knowledge and past experience creating original games.

Jeremiah Slaczka, Creative Director and Co-Owner of 5TH Cell.

Yahoo! also have an exclusive new trailer to check out, including feeding a hungry dinosaur and running about crowbarring things.
