Resident Evil Archives UK Boxart on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Resident Evil Archives is due out next month and Capcom have posted up the UK box-art.

The original Resident Evil was remade on the GameCube and this remake is being remade again for the Wii, with added motion control and Wii pointing antics - and like the original it'll also don a BBFC "15" sticker.

I dunno what to do. I already own it three times (PS1, GC and DS), but i'd like to experience it with progressive scan, because it must be evan more beautiful. Damn it !

this is pathetic. Pre rendered backgrounds in 2009 on a home console. Capcom are real wankers at the moment. Release one unique game (zack and wiki) with kiddy graphics and mature content that doesnt sell. And you declare it isnt a profitable console. Perhaps supporting it properly from day one and not wait untill the near death to release a classic (RE4 on cube) and you might see results

According to IGN it does. In fact the GameCube version did HAVE progressive scan, but only on japanese and US versions. Only us europeans didn\'t have on the GameCube version.

Set aside the fact that the backgrounds are pre-rendered and you still have one of the best looking games of all time, even though it\'s a 6 or 7 years old game. I\'d LOVE to see more games that look THAT good on Wii.

Just more NEW games, and not remakes though, be it pre-rendered or not, but i doubt that real time graphics can look as good on Wii as RE-Rebirth does with its pre-rendered backgrounds.

I wish Capcom would have redone RE2 & 3 with such good pre-rendered backgroundss on the Wii instead of the chronicles games.

I had it on Gamecube but couldn't handle going back to really poor digital control - if it's fixed then I might be interested.
