IGN Posts Blurred Image of Secret Wii Game on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

IGN's Matt Casamassima has posted up a blurry image of a secret ground-up Wii game due to debut at this year's E3.

With the next big gaming shindig coming up in June, the internet's started to post up hints, rumours and all sorts for E3 2009 - and the latest is a blurred out image of an upcoming Wii game.

...but at the very least, there seems to be a lot of red in that blurred-out picture. And you know what fuzzy red means, right? Yep -- teh maturez.

This is a Wii exclusive game. Developed from the ground up.

Its BLUR: the videogame, obviously.

Actualy, that looks like two people holding up something in the air with lighting going between them.
The camera angle possibly indicates a fighting game.

Oh, and I thought Red Dwalf had the best enhancement:

There\'s definitely blood, two people, a sword and it looks like the guy with the sword is wearing some gimpy looking stuff.

I just hope it\'s something interesting.

It looks like a first-person shooter, as you can see the charcters hands on-screen.

I reckon it may be a new Castlevania or the secret Wii project from Renegade Kid. The enviroment looks like it's set in a castle.

Looks like a woman with a lightning spear/sword. Someone on the IGN Boards mentioned Dynamic Slash or something (doubt it).

So I'm guessing it's a new IP, an action RPG or a 3rd person action game. With a female protagonist. Or it could be Samus and this is a 3D 3rd person Metroid.

Instead of concentrating on the foreground, let's see the background. there's a lot of white. that could be snow. And grey and red walls; Bloodstained stone walls ?

No idea what it could be to be honest. I'm even a bit disappointed because i don't see it being a Starfox, a F-Zero or a Pilotwings wich are the three first party titles i want to see come to Wii the most. If it's a game that was revealed by Nintendo itself then it must be a first or second party title.

Now Stulaw mentionned Dynamic Slash. We've yet to get news on that project. There's also Cosmic Walker which we haven't had news about since it was announced in Autumun of last year.

Looks like a commodore 64 game I've never played. Which would make sense since it's supposed to have been developed 'from the ground up'.
And the Wii has a commodore 64 games download option via the Virtual Console right?

Here's hoping for a sequel to Nebulus. Except more bloody. That's apparently what was missing. :/

Weird, it's surprisingly accurate and was done pretty quickly too.

Thinking about it, that guy probably did a quick sketch, the blurry picture looks more in game/ more colourful.

Edit: on second thoughts, I looked at both images again and they\'re almost exactly the same (bar blurryness).

I do hope it's something good, I mean, it's going to probably be rated an 15 or 18 over here in the UK, and maybe teen or Mature in the US, but just cause it's made for the 'Mature' gamer ,which includes most of us now (we're getting old Smilie ). Doesn't mean it's going to be a good game.
