Namco Bandai have confirmed two new Dragon Ball (Z) titles bound for Europe on Nintendo's Wii and DS.

The Wii game will come under the subtitle "Revenge of King Piccolo" (screens below), telling the original Dragon Ball story in 3D and the tale of young Goku as he looks for his orange balls and goes up against the dastardly King Piccolo. The story mode encompasses both the Red Ribbon and King Piccolo sagas, with stage select, and an unlockable VS battle mode for those wanting to re-enact popular Dragonball fights.

European DS owners will receive "Attack of the Saiyans", which tells the story of the invasion of the Saiyans and initial saga/arc in the Z series. Side quests, "brand new gameplay" and unique chapters that aren't found in the anime or manga are amongst the new features with this release.

Both titles are due later this year with Namco Bandai to publish.

More screens can be found in the Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo album below.

Are you interested in either of these two Dragon Ball titles?

Oh, I thought, the Wii game was going to be a side scrolling adventure. Looks like it's got full 3D aswell. I wonder if they'll include the World Tournament aswell.

Budokai two/three (that wii one) was real good, although the combo system requires three years of studying Smilie

I'm not interested in dragonball, dragonball Z is much more fun.

I like how the second picture is Goku in the exact same pose. Gives me funny mental images of when fights start, he assumes that position and you drag him around into enemies with the Wii remote.

The first picture there actually looks really quite nice, then you see the generic-o enemies and... yeah.
Still looking forward to this, though.

Oh great, another DB game I can't own! Smilie

It looks cool though. I've always said the Dragon Ball franchise should rock in the RPG mode. Considering what it was in "Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2" with the Wii-mote and all the "Kamehame-haaa" motion and stuff, the motion sequences to do attacks in this one should be amazing or pretty accurate aswell.

The moves you had to do in Dragon Ball: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 were more accurate than the ones you had to to in it's sequel [Dragon Ball: "confusing name" 3 Smilie].
