Latest Japanese Chart Rundown: 11th-17th May, 2009

The latest Japanese sales are now in from tracker Media Create. Sales are quickly back down following the Golden Week period. The sixth PSP Bleach hits the top spot with just over 41,000 units, whilst Growlanser returns, this time on PSP and landing at No.2 with a little under 30,000 copies sold. The Monolith Soft-developed Dragon Ball Kai, the third Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, WarioWare: Myself! and Mario & Luigi 3 all continue to hold up quite sell despite the general software lull, as does Monster Hunter G on Wii. Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 finally arrives on Wii, well over half a year since the first edition hit PS3 in Japan, and a few months after the PSP and PS2 versions. Amazingly, even though Konami did its best to shoot the Wii version down in flames, slightly more than 14,000 Wii owners patiently waited for what is without a doubt the best version out right now.
