THQ have announced a new addition to the Drawn to Life series, Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter for both Wii and DS.
The pair of games are due later this year, letting players sketch out their own protagonists using a stylus, as with the DS original, or a their Wii remote on the big screen. The Wii edition features over 100 unique items to rid the Raposa village of Evil, as well as a new multiplayer mode where you'll be drawing out friends and competing in a range of mini-games like footy, baseball and hockey.
On the DS players will continue where they left off in the last Drawn to Life game by using the stylus to draw their own heroes - from humans to multi-limbed creatures and taken on a brand new adventure aboard the Turtle Ship to battle the evil Wilfre. To extend the main story there are a range of sidequests/challenges, new abilities to tag on as well as a multiplayer mode to trade heroes, items and accessories.
Both games have been pencilled in for a fall 2009 release. Jeremiah Slaczka of 5TH Cell has confirmed that him and the team are working on the DS game, creating it completely from the ground-up, whilst Planet Moon is developing the Wii version.
