E309 | Shaun White Slides into Exclusive Wii Sequel on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Ubisoft have announced an exclusive sequel to Shaun White Snowboarding, this time hitting the World Stage.

The game will be back on store shelves this holiday season with fans once again leaping onto slippery slopes with White and his crew. This time round players will be greeted with more locations - New York's Time Square, Japan, Canadian circuits and some of the more prestigious competitions in France and Europe.

Ubisoft has been a great partner, and I'm excited for World Stage," said action sports phenom Shaun White. "It's cool to give people insight on what my life is like on the competition circuit.

Like the arcade, non-realistic style to it.

Good style but as with most of these games - just needs cleaning up/refining. Character models look pretty nice but the environments pretty shod-diddly-iddly!

This does NOT surprise me in the slightest considering the Wii version sold more than the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions combined, plus was generally rated far higher than the version that appeared on those systems.

No wonder Ubisoft is so keen to support Nintendo's peripherals, such as the MotionPlus exclusivity for Red Steel 2. It realises that the millions of people with such add-ons will be looking for some other games to use them with...and if Ubi's selection is the only alternative then it considerably increases the chances of sales.

Just one thing to it: Wii Balance Board Smilie

I've never played this game 'cuase I've never got a WBB, though I used to play the 1080º games in the past.

I agree with what jb said, environment looks... different... from the player models [wich look fine]. I even think 1080º Avalanche had better environment graphics Smilie, but let's just see how it comes out...
