XSeed Pick Up Fragile for the US Market on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Unique Role-player Fragile will finally be braking from the confines of Japan, courtesy of New Publisher XSeed.

For a time it looked like Namco's and tri-Crescendo's Wii-focused atmospheric Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon would be staying native to its homeland. IGN have now confirmed that XSeed, known for taking chances with lesser known and requested titles, will be releasing the game in the US by the end of this year. XSeed are rumoured to be keeping the original Japanese Voices for the localization as well as adding English dubs, and there are whispers of extra content too.

We are ecstatic to be able to finally confirm Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon for gamers in North America. We have received countless requests from eager gamers pleading with us to publish this title, and it gives us great joy to be able to give the public what they want while being able to work on such a great game.
-Jun Iwasaki, president of Xseed Games.

No word on a Europe release yet, but XSeed's Euro-equivilant Rising Star Games are usually reliable for this sort of thing.

Will the US readers here be aiming to pick this one up for Christmas?

Hehe, I can't put down in words how glad I am. Probably the best role-playing game for the Wii? *checks shelf* Hmm.. I think so, I'll get it again for sure when it'll be released it in Europa.

Good, although game design in Fragile seems at best mediocre. They should've stuck with the original concept of plain adventure.

COOL ! Now it's gotta come to Europe as well. Rising Star Games please ?

I just hope Atari Europe won't prevent them from doing so, just because they release Namco Games in Europe. They're not going to release it if RSG doesn't anyway.
