E309 Media | New No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

A new clip of Otaku Travis Touchdown's return to Wii has been released, along with plenty of screens.

The theme of No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle is Travis' motive of revenge, the reason for which is not yet known. Sylvia Christel returns, as does the Beam-Katana anarchy the original game was loved for, this time split into two for double the Strawberry Cheesecake.

Another good lookin' game. The first one was awesome, so I'll probably pick this up.

Only one thing to say about that trailer;

cant fucking wait XD i want a fucking war!

Got the original recently, and I have yet to play it. All I can say though is, I'm loving the graphical update, this one's looking to really be something special already.

Does look a bit better, not as overly saturated as the last one.
Hope the slow down problems are fixed too.

And the Lego-Island-esque hub world. -.-

Free roaming is great and all, but it looks like it was made on a very basic graphics program is all.

Yeah, that was the best ending for a trailer I've ever seen.Smilie As for the Guy who tossed Afro Women at Travis that was a huge WTF momentSmilie. And the Dual wielding Beam Katanas look sexy. I wonder if he will get a new vehicle tooSmilie 2010 is just not coming fast enoughSmilie

Yeah I wasn't a fan of it either, doing those lame jobs, poking the ground for money, driving from place to place, twas all very dull. Felt like they stuck it in to leangthen the game artificially.

Oh Hell yeh!. I\'m a massive fan of the original. The bosses look mental Smilie I\'m hoping that there is a bit more story and cutscenes to this one as the last one was a complete mind fuck at the end.
Don\'t get me wrong, I want a mind fuck, I just want A mindfuck throughout the game Smilie
The bosses look as mad as ever too Smilie

Something tells me that the girl with the beam katana could be

They didSmilie, but I just tried to look at it as part of the games style.

I wonder if in NMH: DS if you can now change the Travis' shoes, cause I can't stand having an entire badass outfit with shoes that just don't go match itSmilie

Amazing. Amazing.

Amazing.

I adore the first game, I need this. It looks like it could be more ridiculous and darker at the same time, and hopefully the overworld will be improved. Also hoping that this thing is filled with pops at sequels, since this is Suda's first 'official' sequel.

I see they renamed it as well; it was just NMH: Desperate Struggle before, if I recall correctly, but now it's got a '2' in it. Perhaps trying to lessen the 'Sudaism' of NMH: DS so people realise it's still on Wii. Also like how they've taken that two literally and given him two katanas.

Too many game announcements. Something isnt right. A nintendo console has too many third party releases incoming. I can't keep up with them all. Took three years but the excitement is boiling over.

Smilie its called pre E3 dev dont want they game to get snow under all the other news coming out at the same time

I know but where was this all last year! I dont really care what nintendo announce now. If they offer anything that takes my interest (traditional games) it will be additional icing on the already existing icing. A new wii zelda, pikmin would be a good start. Zelda needs to be shaken up.
I heard that retro was actually working on a new zelda but for what ever reason it was taken off them. Would have loved retro to have finished it. They would have offered something spectacular.

For me, NMH > GTA4. I just had a lot more fun playing it. I actually stopped playing GTA4 before completing it. Loving the re-mix of the theme tune. The Doom door opening noise when the boss' arms come outSmilie

I've always wanted a red leather jacket ever since I played the first but I can't find one cool enough.

Too good to be true! Suda is a genius! I loved the first one, this one looks like it's going to be even better! The fighting system seems like it has seen a vast improvement! Love it!!!

Looks fantastic, easily my most anticipated Wii game at the moment. I loved the first game so much and this is looking like it will be even better.
