Nintendo has today re-confirmed that it will be bringing the Japanese hit Girls Mode to the US. Whilst Satoru Iwata had previously stated in financial briefings earlier in the year that the surprise smash-hit from Japan on DS was going to eventually be heading to the West, it was made official at the Nintendo Conference that its US name will be Style Savvy.
Considering the game has gradually built its way up to over 800,000 sales in Japan since launching back on 23rd October, 2008, Nintendo of America will be looking to push this in the US to the hordes of girls that lapped up all of Ubisoft's casual titles. The game had been revealed at a special retailer conference earlier that month and started with sales of only 27,000 copies on its first day, but Wagamama Fashion: Girls Mode is closing in on the million milestone mark.
A firm release date is expected in the coming days...
