Games, developers and publishers unite.

To provide the European gaming community with a location to provide developers and publishers to house their latest titles and hardware, The London Games Week occurs in England to showcase titles to European visitors and the press. However, following up from the first event in 2002, Futuris announced that their annual show will again take place this year in Belgium with the usual developing bodies revealing games for all the next generation consoles.

The first of Futiris’ events, known as “Powerplay” occurred during the first week of autumn leave (1/2 term in the UK) 2002 and several halls and floors of the Brussels Event Brewery contained console demonstrations, video footage, character stalls as well as a bristling crowd of more than 15,000 visitors from around Europe. With the success of the pilot event, Futuris will again organise another for the end of October and Early November for Powerplay 2003.

The event is dubbed as “discover and do”, where consumers can try upcoming game demonstrations from all next generation consoles, meet game publishers with new games as well as interact with other gamers in unique challenges and competitions.
