E309 Media | Screens of Bandai Namco

Bandai Namco has announced a brand new Action RPG for the Nintendo DS, working with Production IG, the team that has created animated scenes for many Tales RPGs and recently teamed up with Nintendo and Good Feel for Wario Land: The Shake Dimension. Entitled Hottarake no Shima: Kanata to Nijiiro no Kagami, this new role-playing game is due for release in Japan on 6th August, 2009 and is being worked on by Takahashi-san, who has previously undertaken work on numerous 'Tales of' RPGs, such as Tales of the World and Tales of Innocence, plus will included plenty of gorgeous animated cut-scenes.

No details of a possible Western release have been announced yet, but considering Tales of the Tempest, Tales of Innocence, Tales of Hearts and the recent release Destiny Links, all on DS, have yet to be confirmed for release outside of Japan, hopes are not too high right now.
