With Pokémon Gold and Silver confirmed as getting DS remakes later this year, gamers are keen for any new details. Sadly new information tidbits are rather few and far between, with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company keeping very quiet on HeartGold and SoulSilver. However, at least it has now been revealed that the Japanese market will be welcoming these hotly-anticipated remakes in September, 2009 and will actually come with a special bonus for those eager fans that pre-order either of the titles. The treat for getting your name down early is one of three different Pokémon figurines.
On top of this, one of the new features to be included in the games is the 'Poké Walk' function, whereby a steps counter is included in the package that can let you level-up a Pocket Monster of your choice simply by saving its data and taking the device with you on your travels. Japanese show Pokémon Sunday have revealed the device, similar in shape and design to a Pokéball, in a clip watchable here.
Hopefully juicier details will be unleashed in the coming weeks...
