Sonic The Hedgehog Turns Legal

Here\'s hoping Sonic Team give him a well earned rest for his 18th, maybe the chance to enter the Olympic Games or a driving competition.

Maybe all he needs is a longer development cycle.

Favourite game is Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
I\'m hoping for a Sonic Rush 3 with less endless pits, more platforming, and more characters.

Sonic 2 was nostalgic for me. It was my first Sonic game which is why I think I like it the most. Really what I would like to see in the future of Sonic is another Sonic Adventure.

I loved both 1 and 2, I didn't like heroes and the Sonic games after. I'm telling Sega to go back to what worked; good music, good voice acting, fast levels along with having other characters to do non-fast gameplay to break up the monotony and last but not least, another chao system!!!

The chao system to me added loads of replay value to the game and it was the only reason why I went back to play through the levels. Bring back the chao system!!!

Well, ironically enough he is now the age that he was supposed to be fictionally in SatAM fiction IIRC. So I guess that makes him 36!

Might have a Sonic marathon today. Going through Sonic 1, 2, and S3&K.

Would have been a good day/week for Sega to stick Sonic & Knuckles on VC.

It was rated ages ago. The delay is most likely Sega trying to get the \'lock-on\' feature worked out like they\'ve done on the 360 Arcade. Nintendo have probably made it very difficult for them.

Happy 18th Birthday Sonic!

A great franchise nevertheless, no matter what his most recent gaming entries have been like.

My late 8-year old cousin loved Sonic and truly embodied the free spirit and love of life that Sonic is all about. I credit him with introducing me to the Sonic games when I\'d play multiplayer on the Genesis with him and my other cousin, his sister. I fondly remember being told I had to be Tails since Sonic was already taken. XP I\'ve played his old-school titles on the Sonic Mega Collection on GCN, the Sonic Rush titles on DS, and although I\'m not the best with the 3D titles, I always find games like Sonic Unleashed, Sonic and the Secret Rings, and Sonic Riders are fun too in their own right.

The Blue Blur himself is awesome, always has and always will be. Cheers to the big one-eight!

Yup, I know. I just don't see why they can't stick up the entirety of S3&K as a seperate download for 1000 points, and allow it for free to S&K and Sonic 3 owners. I'd love that.

Why not 'better'?

You don't just make a game "better".

I already said, less bottomless pits and more platforming. That's all Rush needs to be "better".

Quantity over quality? Madness! I...I once looked up to you...

What were Rush\'s flaws?

- All running no platforming.

How do you fix those flaws?

I can't belive that this day has come. I hope that Sonic team will give us more decent Sonic games in the future. My favourite game is Sonic 2.

Since he's a man now I think sonic needs a hair cut.
