As previously rumoured, XSEED's EU arm Rising Star Games will indeed be localizing tri-Crescendo's atmospheric adventure, Fragile.

Confirmed on Rising Star's Official Site, Fragile will be on the way to Europe and Australia exclusively for Wii sometime in 2010, most likely the first quarter of the year.

Next year, an emotional adventure like no other is coming to Europe and Australia on Nintendo WiiTM...

Seto may be the last human alive. He buried his grandfather at the end of the summer.

Desperately lonely, he decides to search for other survivors on this ruined and dying planet.

But he will have to fight off the demons and ghosts that haunt this forsaken and crumbling world, while piecing together the mystery of mankind's disappearance.

Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon - coming to Europe and Australia in 2010.

No other details have been released as of yet, but it is expected that the original Japanese Voices will be retained as XSEED are rumoured to be doing for the US release.

Is this game now on your wishlist for 2010?

FINALLY! You know hard it is to know about something like this for so long but have to keep quiet...?! Smilie

Having RSG and XSEED crack Bandai Namco in order to get this over to the West bodes well for future Japan-only BN games coming as well. Destiny Links is one particular DS RPG that definitely deserves attention, plus there's Tales of Innocence and Tales of Hearts, of course.

    Fantastic news indeed Smilie

Will definitely be getting, I love stuff like this. With any luck they'll use Boxart like Japan's, too. Smilie

BanNam EU has been in talks to get this over to Europe since early this year, just so people are aware that it hadn't been forgotten about. It was a case of how best to translate it since some of the Japanese text is actually part of the graphics and to translate that would cost too much to make the process viable.

Personally I suggested they just go with subtitles, since the 'hardcore' group that are likely to pick this up will have no real qualms about the lack of English voicework. After all, a lot of fans complain about weak English voiceovers anyway...Glad they took that approach. More cost effective as well.

I'm still annoyed that Rising Star are being almost as lazy with Harvest Moon games as Ubisoft were >> We're never gonna get Harvest Moon Wii or any of the other Rune Factory games here in Europe.

I will definitely get Fragile. I even think Fragile with Japanese track and graphics with subtitles would only add to the strange experience with this game. The artwork is Japanese, it's like an Anime and It wouldn't lose anything for me. On the contrary.
I find your lack of faith disturbing!
