Pro Evolution Soccer for the Wii will be launching shortly after the high definition Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

Konami's football simulation has had a better run on the Wii with its unique interface and motion controls, and it looks as if the studio has noticed with the Nintendo version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 out this Autumn. According to IGN, expect an improved stamina system and more engaging free kicks.

Our control system for Wii is still regarded as the finest and most intuitive around, and we have once again reworked it to add a level of control and realism that can appeal to new and old PES fans alike,"

    Akiyoshi 'Greyhound' Chosogabe, producer

What did you think of the recent Wii version of Pro Evo - does it stand well alongside its bigger brothers? Are you interested in a new outing?

What will stand it in good stead is the fact that this time it's not releasing more than six months later than the other versions! Smilie

Despite such a set-back, the Wii version has still chugged away to achieve decent enough sales, so landing closer to the others will give it more of a chance Smilie
