Hudson Bring More Horror to Wii on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Remember those leaked trailers of a Hudson Wii Horror Game that were subsequently pulled down? Famitsu officially confirms it.

So far The Calling is at 70% complete, and characters shown at this point include male lead Shinichi Suzutani and female lead Rin Kagura. These two visit a website called "The Black Page," a website that can banish you to a life keeping you from heaven and hell; as you'd expect they fall in head-first, and you have to get them back to the real world.
Pointing with the Wii Remote moves your character in first person view, and your cell phone lets you get calls from ghosts, which will give you tips, as well as letting you call other phones in the game world and take pictures to send to friends.
There will be also be QTEs consisting of shaking off Ghosts during 'fright events' by shaking the Wii Remote and pressing the correct buttons displayed on screen.

Two of the leaked videos that survived Hudson's hit squad, which seem to suggest the game will be on-rails, although that might have changed since;

This is Hudson - pretty much all its games come out in the West. It'll be interesting to see which is better out of this and Ju-On: The Grudge.

Oh and remember Hudson completely denying all knowledge of this game, blaming its US PR agency for cocking things up with the video leak? Smilie

This is my favourite game EVER! I love this game, it is awesome! It's scary, chilling, sad, and awesome! XD Not to mention, everyone says i look exactly like Rin Kagura ^^ Which is kinda creepy, but cool at the same time Smilie
