Wii Sports Resort US Launch Event on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

New York's Military Island will be transformed by Nintendo into a beautiful island to celebrate the release of Wii Sports Resort.

The MotionPlus-enabled follow up to Wii Sports launches later this month, and to celebrate, fans can enjoy the game in tropical surroundings - a sandy beach, swimming pool and lounge before the official release on July 26th.

  • When - Thursday, July 23, 2009, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Where - Military Island/Times Square, 7th Avenue and Broadway, Manhattan, NY 10036
