Guitar Hero 5 Wii Info on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Activision have noticed the Wii editions of Guitar Hero performing well, so are pouring a tonne of new features into Guitar Hero 5.

  • DS link-up: competitive/co-op feature known as "Rodie Battle".
  • DS can also be used for a Stage Show Manager/music video creator for Mii Freestyle.
  • 8 player online support for up to 8 Wiis.
  • No in-game friends, global Wii friend code for automatic addition of address book friends.
  • No Wii system memory needed to download songs.
  • Share creations in GH Tunes via WC24.
  • Mii Freestyle returns alongside GH Tunes.
  • Party Play mode for drop-in/drop-out play.

    Some things are okay, I don't need them, but everything said is great! The DLC-handling isn't the best, but they do their best to make it easier for us.

    I think Vicarious Visions does a great job. That's not easy when under the pressure of the world's greatest publisher, which didn't give a damn for us Wiis.
    I bougt GH Greatest Hits (European title), which was done by Beenox Studios - and they screwed a lot up...!


    I wonder how the DS stuff is going to work... What do they mean by these thingies?

    About time too I should think. It's such a pain having freind codes for all your different games. I don't know why this hasn't been done sooner GRRR. Especially when they put "Invite freinds from Wii Message" facillity in, it's a big FU in your face :-x
