Wii Sports Resort Crosses Million in Japan

For the Japanese holiday of Obon, sales generally pick up and this bump has helped Wii Sports Resort over a new milestone. Just as the game has flown by a million in the US and sold another million across Europe, Nintendo's latest release, which includes a free MotionPlus add-on, has now crossed a million sales units since launching just over a month ago.

The sales period also helped Nintendo's Friend Collection for DS edge close to the 3/4 million mark, bump Dragon Quest IX back to No.1 and keep Monster Hunter 3 riding high on Wii.
