Ghostfire Games have fired over some new information about their upcoming WiiWare title Rage of the Gladiator - it's now the first downloadable game on Wii to support the Motion Plus controller add-on. The move comes after the company took on fan feedback to the initial trailers that implored them to look into using the peripheral for more accurate monster bashing.
As such, your strikes are now more accurate - you can swing left, right, up and down and have greater faith that you will hit the opponent how you desire. For those without Motion Plus, fear not - the original, non-Motion Plus-ified, control scheme is still in place.
Here's what Ghostfire CEO Ed Roman had to say on the development:
"We listened to you, the Wii community. The community encouraged us to explore Wii MotionPlus and we listened to your feedback. The result is pretty awesome - we actually love playing it with Wii MotionPlus even more than traditional controls. We've also added a basic motion sensing mode as well, for people to use the Wii Remote + Nunchuk in case they don't have a Wii MotionPlus device."
And here's the announcement trailer:
Not only that, but we've added some new screens to the media album below.
