Frank West Confirmed for Tatsunoko vs Capcom on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Frank West, of Dead Rising fame, has been added to the Capcom side of its Tatsunoko brawler.

The studio's Mega Man, Viewtiful Joe and various other popular faces made the cut the first time roumd, but due to licensing issues there'll be a view changes/additions to the Western mix. One of them was confirmed at this year's TGS convention - Dead Rising protagonist Frank West.

He'll be swinging and throwing his way to victory with an arsenal of shopping mall weapons and accessories.

Why did they make him look like Niko Bellic from GTA4?

I'm not a fan of Dead Rising so I couldn't care less at his inclusion. I'd prefer Zack from Zack and Wiki to him.

Also Phoenix Wright, but they've already said they can't put him in for the stupidest of reasons. Smilie

Alongside Frank West, Zero from Megaman Zero series was rumoured to be in it, so I'd say he's pretty much confirmed by now.

I don't think Wright has a chance anymore.

He seems like a joke character but, he's done tastefully. I still would love to see the Samurai Pizza Cats show for the Tatsunoko side.

Yeah his ingame character does look a bit different from his picture at the start of the trailer. It looks like they had some problems with the shading around the eyes Smilie

Yeah seeing Zack & Wiki would be something interesting. Zack could shake Wiki and turn enemies into totems and produce combos on them while they're immobile or he could use wiki on his partners turning them into weapons.

Smilie Zero from Megeman Zero is rumored to be in there now. This game is looking to have alot of Megaman face time.
