Twilight, the multi-million selling book and high grossing movie, is set to hit DS and Wii thanks to Konami. However, rather than being a side-scrolling vampiric-themed action title, or anything like that, it will instead take on the form of a videogame trivia title for all the family to enjoy - Scene It? Twilight, which is coming to the Wii and Nintendo DS and is a new version of the popular board game franchise, with the questions focused solely on the first movie.

The game features over 500 trivia questions, along with flim clips, sound bytes, and images from the film, plus features single- and multi-player modes, as well as Wii Remote functionality for buzzing in and a new user-interface.

"Konami is always looking to engage people in new means of interactive gaming experiences. The TWILIGHT film has an incredibly popular following who crave content and new media well after the movies are no longer in theatres. With extensive content from the film, Scene It? Twilight will bring life to the excitement and energy surrounding the popular film in an all-new way."
    - Kazumi Kitaue, Chairman and President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.

The game is set for release for the Wii during the Autumn period in the US, with the DS edition set to follow early next year.

It's completely free to download. If you enjoy it, please also check out a collection called "Dark Things." This one is $.99, but the first two stories are free.

Technical glitch - so it was a placeholder. Updated now Smilie

Anyway, I thought you'd be more shocked at the fact this is just a quiz game, rather than full-on action romp!

Why would that surprise me? The major conflict in the film consisted of a group of actors standing in a field hissing at each other. Some action.
