Downloadable DS Game For Tales of Graces on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Owners of the Wii Tales of Graces will be able to download a minigame to Nintendo's DS, Kamenin Merchant.

According to IGN, the game allows teams of up to 4 battle through randomly generated dungeons with items transferred back to the main Wii game. Progress in Graces unlockes new features in the minigame, and once you're done for the day you'll be able to save your game by sending it back to the Wii - unlike other download play games.

Those just wanting the game will be able to download it on DSiware in the future.

What do you think of the idea? Should other Wii adventures/RPGs follow this route?

Really like this idea, especially it going beyond a bog-standard download play game.

Unlocking extra content in both versions as you progress is awesome, would definitely like to see this approach for something like Zelda on Wii - with a smaller Phantom Hourglass-styled counperpart for the DS. Maybe even an optional dungeon where you'll need to use the DS in specific puzzles/get through certain sections. Would be sweet!

That's cool. Smilie

Would definately like to see this used in more games.
