The winners were users I\'ve never even heard of?! Damn...

I just hope they didn\'t just join the site to win...And that they aren\'t any of the chatties...

EDIT: HA! This \"grizbo\" person joined a day after the contest started! He hasn\'t even posted EVER! And this \"Holly Hofer\" person isn\'t even a user!

But gratz to EdEN, I\'m glad at least one veteran won.

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

Aye, well a draw's a draw! Would be just a *little* unfair if we only had entrants who are veteran members!

All correct ones are popped into a list and we use a random number gen to pick out the results.

I agree, but it seems a little more unfair to let people who sign up a day after the contest starts who only join the site to win participate. Especially since some may be multiple accounts...And I don\'t like \"guests\"... Weren\'t there plenty of entrants who\'ve just become users around a month or 2 ago?

I\'m not trying to be a sore loser or anything. I just don\'t like the fact that people who probably will never come to this site again are legit. I would\'ve even been fine if one of the chatties like Marth won.

OH YES, AND GRATZ TO TEH NINJERS! Smilie

...BUT FINE! I\'ll accept them IF AND ONLY IF they come to THIS NEWS ARTICLE and THANK THE ENTIRE SITE OF THEIR OWN ACCORD.

Well in TV competitions they let whoever calls up enter, so I don't see the real difference in letting new members/ex-guests enter Smilie

I think you're forgetting the idea of a competition on is to bring new people to the site.

    Want Muramasa so badly.....

I've never heard of those posters either, except for EdEN (sorry Lrrr).

Oh yeah, Congratulations to Lrrr, EdEN and Stucorbs, unless the article made a mistake and it's actually Stulaw Smilie

And I'm afraid I don't know the other members...

And you're forgetting the idea that the "new people" never posted and probably never will.

I don't see the problem. So some strangers won, big deal. Maybe they'll enjoy the game more than these cynical veterans who don't play games but post on an internet forum everyday.

Gongratulations random strangers and have fun with your prize.

Yeah, but they could've at least said "thanks" like that one guy...Smilie

I'm sure they did say that to Jorge when they were contacted for details and such though.

Very well, then. I sincerely apologize to all I have offended with my remarks. I REALLY hope you all enjoy your cake.

Drat. Yeah, I've never even heard of those people. Lame.

Well, that just made my day! Funny thing is I was going to buy Muramasa tomorrow since I got some Gift Cards for my birthday and now I'll get it for free and can purchase Madagascar Kartz instead... just kidding, I'll be getting A Boy and His Blob and Valkyria Chronicles since I just got a PS3 Slim. Oh wait... mmm, the email says I won a copy of the game, but the contest said that 2nd place only gets the Wall scroll. Hold on, THIS http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2593/3672381852_7bc2ea51ea_o.jpg wall scroll? Ok, foxes it is then.

Thanks for a very fair and just decision in awarding the prizes for the contest!Smilie

Sooo jb, will I get the game AND the wall scroll? Just curious...

Thanks for the warm welcome lol

I am EXTREMELY grateful to have been able to win, I found out through my Facebook feed since I am a fan of the game, and am I SO happy I did! I probably would have had to wait at least a few months until the game was cheap at a used game store (if even that), I just haven't been able to get around to getting it or fit it into my ever decreasing budget.

So, please know that the winner is an EXTREMELY grateful fangirl who had been looking forward to the game for a while, and would not have been able to get this game for an even longer while, otherwise.

And I shall definitely be checking around this site now Smilie

This is either the most suspiciously convenient situation against my argument, or a truthful reason for me to be EVEN MORE SORRY IF MY REMARKS OFFENDED!Smilie

Thanks for the prize! Decided I need to post my gratitude here as well so as to not appear as some ungrateful mute. (And because everyone else did Smilie )

And yes, I did join this site to participate in this contest. As was already mentioned, that is the point of these contests.

My email says the same. Wondering the same thing except about the game and poster...

Hi guys - as it says on the news post - EdEN came in second place so will get a wall scroll, and grizbo in third so has won a Muramasa poster.
