Resident Evil Zero Spawns onto Wii in December

Capcom's digging up a classic from its archives in time for Christmas with a release date for the Wii edition of Resident Evil Zero.

The game will include support for the Wii Remote, much like in the same way as previous Resident Evil Archives inductee, the original Resident Evil 1. It's a fairly recent project, landing on the GameCube back in 2002, a prequel to current events at the start of the zombie outbreaks. Take control of S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers and convict Billy Coen, hot swapping between the pair in the heat of action.

Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero is spawning in North America on December 1st 2009.

If you release a game with a "recent" concept dating 2002, you know you're over exaggerating the 'milking the same project' principle.

Unless you are Capcom, of course, and decide not to give gamers a game they want but a game you want to sell.

How 'bout giving us Resident Evil 5 with Wiimote controls.

We deserve it by putting up with all the damn remakes/ports released for the Wii.

Cheap! This whole argument of but people missed out during the PS1/cube days. Lets just port the entire cube/PS1 era games. Its a lame excuse. If you want new cutomers to experience your franchise: make a new title.
